This position is for candidates who are interested in teacher assistant positions at Newcomer Academy for the 2024-2025 school year. Upon submission, your application will be reviewed by the hiring team, and interviews will be extended to selected applicants.

- Wednesday, April 3 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Thursday, April 4 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Available positions:
- Teacher Assistant – CTE Automotive Trade Liaison
- Teacher Assistant – CTE General Construction Trade Liaison
- Teacher Assistant – CTE Carpentry Trade Liaison
EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Teacher Assistant Positions:
Associate Degree, or 48 College Credits, or a passing score of 461 on the ParaPro Test and
Certificate of completion from an approved Teacher Assistant Training Program or enrolled in an approved Teaching Assistant Training Program with an expected completion time within 60 days of start date
Child Support Assistant Positions:
Associate Degree, or 48 College Credits, or a passing score of 461 on the ParaPro Test and
Certificate of completion from an approved Teacher Assistant Training Program or enrolled in an approved Teaching Assistant Training Program with an expected completion time within 60 days of start date and
CNA License
