Chartered Accounting (SA) and Tax Practitioner firm, based in Milnerton, Cape Town requires a senior bookkeeper/accountant.
Market-related salary based on position and experience: R22000 R32000 CTC
Unsupervised responsibilities subject to review include but are not limited to the following:
- Pastel accounting processing.
- SARS e-filing and Accfin tax package.
- Draft Worx compilation of annual financial statements.
- Communication with clients.
- Management of SARS e-filing profiles and preparation of income tax and other tax returns.
- Provisional tax.
- General instructions working on SARS e-filing profile for clients on queries and other SARS issues including administration issues.
- Monthly PAYE, VAT, and other statutory returns.
- Any other tasks relevant to the position.
Preferred requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Exposure to Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, Pastel, SARS e-filing
- Communication skills and interactions with clients and staff in a professional manner.
- Degree or diploma in accounting/tax with relevant work experience advantageous.
Expected salary: R22000 – 32000 per month
