Job description: We are currently seeking a Reconciliation Officer to join our team. As a Reconciliation Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. In this position, you will be responsible for verifying and reconciling transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining clear and organized records. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and reconcile financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and receipts
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding issues and discrepancies
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports of reconciliations and findings
  • Monitor and track outstanding payments and follow up with vendors or clients as necessary
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to streamline reconciliation procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Expected salary: 5600 – 6300 per month
