We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Town Planner to join our team in Pretoria.Job SummaryAs a Junior Town Planner you will assist in the execution of town planning related aspects and applications in terms of relevant legislation at various spheres of government.Job Details· Town Planning research and assessment according to relevant legislation and regulations.· Preliminary site assessments and advice on site position selections.· Preparation & submission of required permitting applications and the expeditious conclusion thereof.· Execution and management of relevant public participation processes.· Liaison with clients, members of the public, as well as authorities.Candidate Requirements· A recognised diploma (or degree) in Town and Regional Planning.· Relevant knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand applicable legislation.· Good research skills.· Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English).· Good organisation skills i.e. able to plan and prioritise.· Working in close collaboration with specialists from all disciplines.· The ability to work independently and in a team.· Advanced knowledge and skills in MS Office programmes.· Strong values ethics and integrity.· Willing to travel and have a valid unendorsed code 8 drivers license.· Registration with SACPLAN will be advantageous.If you qualify in terms of the above and should you be interested, please submit your CV with contactable references via e-mail to or .Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and we may expire jobs at our own discretion.
