Job description: Job Summary A Multi-national manufacturer with a strong international presence is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to optimise the finance function.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on local and international accounts and directly impact business decisions within the finance function. You will be tasked with the following:Responsibilities:
- Compile management accounts
- Ensure the trial balance is report ready at month end
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare cashflow forecast
- Analyze capital budgeting requests
- Report any financial discrepancies and risks
- Data collection and analysis
- Accounts payable and receivable management
- Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
- Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- SAICA articles completed or SAIPA will count in your favor
