HVAC Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Drive business development for service and preventative maintenance contracts in private, public, and commercial projects.
- Leverage a strong, demonstrable network for business development purposes.
- Seek and bid on HVAC service contracts in private, plan spec, and design-build sectors.
- Demonstrate thorough HVAC technical knowledge, including familiarity with local codes, specifications, and permitting.
- Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, including detailed estimating.
- Develop customer and sustainability-centric HVAC solutions and systems.
- Determine budget costs for systems and prepare detailed bids and estimates.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare estimates and proposals, aiming to develop the best solutions.
- Develop and maintain a CRM system for efficient management of accounts and projects.
Qualifications
- HVAC, refrigeration, piping, sheet metal, or relevant trade qualification.
- At least 5 years of related HVAC or mechanical experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Strong commercial HVAC experience.
- Proficiency in developing efficient, sustainable HVAC solutions.
- Excellent skills in budget estimation and proposal preparation.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
