Job description: An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Nurse Manager (After Hours Facility Coordinator) to join the Nursing Services Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • The Nurse Manager is a clinical and service leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources to meet patient requirements across the Facility. In the absence of the Line Managers for individual services, the Nurse Manager provides leadership and direction to staff, and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Facility.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $159,428 p.a., comprising salary between $128,701 – $139,732 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
