HybridCompany is seeking a Web Developer to provide thorough and practical solutions to moderately complex business problems through a clear understanding of standard programming principles, languages and concepts.The Web Developer must be competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities independently.Primary Responsibilities:
This position will prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written in addition to designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs.
The primary responsibilities of the position also include the following:
- Utilize Oracle, SQL, ASP.Net MVC, Azure Dev Ops/TFS, SQL statements, stored procedures QlikView, Reporting Services and ASP.Net Core.
- Maintain and modify existing applications and programs.
- Write new programs of moderate complexity and scope.
- Develop software to process complex systems with a high level of reliability and execution speed.
- Competently and independently work on most phases of application analysis and programming.
- Provide thorough and practical solutions to a variety of complex business problems.
- Draft clear and concise documentation and communication as necessary.
- Clearly and effectively verbally present and communicate ideas and status.
- Communicate effectively with staff from the various divisions to which service is being provided, in writing and verbally, as necessary.
- Provide solutions and status on normal business processes.
Effectively listen and follow work directives and instructions.
- Complete assigned tasks and schedules.
- Lead peers and subordinates with positive attitude.
- Provide quality service in all areas of responsibility.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education Required for Position:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Degree in computer science preferred.
Experience Required for Position:
- Three (3) plus years of experience in programming and analysis in a business environment.
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- Continued advanced education in field is preferred.
Specific Skills Required for Position:
- Clear understanding of standard programming principles, languages and concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server or similar relational database, ASP.Net MVC, Azure Dev Ops/TFS required.
- Knowledge of QlikView, Reporting Services or ASP.
- Knowledge of Net Core is a preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provides thorough and practical solutions to a variety of moderately complex business and technical problems.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Meets assigned task schedules and participates in quality review of own and others work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively manage priorities.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range is estimated to be between $75,000 and $85,000 per year for Chicago residents. *The Company has a robust benefit package.
