Job description: Position:VB.Net DeveloperDescription:Support software development within a complex enterprise environment using ASP.net and VB.net. Develop and support the project’s web applications as per client’s requests. Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and tailor processes to requirements. Write scalable, modular, and reusable VB.Net code.\r\rDevelop, troubleshoot, and maintain code and web pages from scratch utilizing various .NET Framework components. Use Team Foundation Server (TFS) to track web development tasks and IBM Engineering Workforce Management (EWM) for code versioning. Participate in code and application peer reviews.\r\rGather and document business requirements for web applications. Support design, development, and deployment of a modernized website. Participate in daily Kanban meetings. Identify, analyze, and resolve issues with web applications.\r\rCollaborate with SQL Developers, Development Team, and Business Analysts to meet business requirements. Conduct application testing for defect-free products. Prepare configuration documents, test plans, and additional technical documentation as required.Requirements:Experience with .Net Core (VB.Net preferred). Knowledge of front-end components such as HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML. Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies. Ability to conform to current processes and procedures. Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions and ensure clients’ goals are met. Adaptability to new environments.\r\rWork independently and collaboratively on multiple tasks with deadlines. Knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational database, Classic ASP, and Business Intelligence Software is a plus. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).\r\rSoftware development experience (an additional 2 years of experience in large enterprise environments may be substituted in lieu of a degree). 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio in an enterprise environment. 5+ years of experience using .Net and web development. Expected salary: $150000 per year
