The Townsville University Hospital (TUH) Campus Manager (Emergency Coordinator) provides operational leadership to ensure the highest standard of functional service delivery and the achievement of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) strategic objectives.

As the primary Emergency Coordinator, the position is responsible to coordinate and communicate the immediate response to an internal or external emergency event at the TUH campus.

The Campus Manager is a senior operational leadership position for the Campus Operations portfolio and its service delivery inclusive of HHS emergency planning and continuity management functions, the health security department and designated corporate services including public and staff car parking operations, switchboard and interpreter services, patient and staff travel services, mail and fleet management functions.

The Campus Operations portfolio comprises approximately 100 staff.

The Campus Manager is additionally responsible for the facilities management of community health facilities across Townsville located at Kirwan, North Ward and Vincent.

Generous remuneration package value up to $161,717 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $132,072 to $141,738 p.a. (AO7)
  • 17.5% recreational leave loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements

  • This position is located at the TUH and may be required to travel throughout the Townsville HHS catchment area and to Brisbane.
  • Possession of a C Class motor vehicle licence is a requirement of the position.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.

Highly Desirable

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce or accounting.
  • Project management qualifications (PRINCE2).
  • Experience in the health service delivery environment.
