Job description: As a Transportation Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments, managing logistics schedules, and monitoring transportation costs. You will also assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize transportation operations. Your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in coordinating with drivers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues that arise during transportation.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Manage logistics schedules and coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure efficient transportation operations
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize transportation efficiency
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Assist in resolving any issues or concerns that arise during transportation and communicate with stakeholders as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for transportation operations
- Provide administrative support to the transportation team, including data entry, filing, and reporting
Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on logistics or transportation preferred
- Proven experience in a transportation or logistics role is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management systems
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards is a plus
Expected salary: 5600 – 7000 per month
