The Role
Our busy Theatre department is seeking experienced and motivated Theatre Orderlies to support a multidisciplinary team across 16 Operating Theatres.
You will contribute to providing a safe environment for patients, staff and Visiting Medical Practitioners through the following duties:
- Transporting patients to and from the Theatre
- Assisting in the day-to-day function of the Operating Suite with patient positioning, theatre set ups, and cleaning and restocking of theatres
- Removing rubbished and soiled linen
This role requires you to have the flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster and will require you to be on call as needed.
About You
- Certificate III in Health Services
- Previous experience working in operating theatres assisting with surgical procedures highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with all patients, the general public and all hospital staff
- Ability to perform a physically demanding role
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively following directions.

Remuneration: A base hourly rate ranging from $28.00 – $30.15 + superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
