Qualifications – You must be a relative of a current IHG Army Hotels – Colleague. • You must be between the ages of 14 – 17 as of program start date.Program Start Date: 5/27/25. Program End Date: 7/31/25.Pay Rate: $17.75/HourHours: Monday-Friday, not to exceed 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per week.We are looking for energetic and conscientious teens that are interested in working this summer in the hospitality industry. Our goal is for you to help us provide excellent service to our guests, while at the same time earning a generous paycheck and hopefully spark interest in a career in the hospitality industry. Your Teen Academy Employment Will Include: • Working alongside Room Attendant team to clean and service our guestrooms. • Work alongside Houseperson team to clean public areas, bathrooms, trash removal, and restocking of housekeeping carts. • Spend a training day with Maintenance team to understand the mechanical operations of building. • Work in the laundry facility to understand the process flow of hotels’ linen. • Work in breakfast facility to learn about service. • Join in community service activities. • Complete an essay review of Teen Academy experience. This job requires the ability to perform the following: Carrying / lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling approximately 200 pounds • Frequently standing up and moving about facility • Frequently handling objects / equipment to maintain facility • Frequently bending, stooping, and kneelingOther: • IHG is an equal opportunity employer: Minorities / Females / Disabled / Veterans
