Job description: Responsibilities: maintaining the budget and scheduling for a project maintain constant communication between other site managers in order to efficiently complete a project, as well as maintaining guidelines that clients put in place. Communication in this role is key, a technical manager must ensure that the clients needs are heard and met during projects Provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications. Supervise the Detailers team by managing their time and by cross-checking all drawings to ensure it is up to standard. Support the Project Managers with accurate drawings from design to production. Prepare assembly and detail drawings . Prepare BOQ for the approved drawings for the procurement, production and PMs depts. Makes necessary time calculation for drawings development and Ensure deadlines are met Liaise with manufacturers to make sure requirements are met. Solve fabrication problems and have log book to work on the improvement for the upcoming projects. Continuously look for and suggest ways to improve the process internally. Provide information and make suggestions on availability of suitable FF&E as required To prepare full FF&E schedule To prepare, schedule and cost all FF&E specification Prepare spreadsheets outlining all costs and gain approval from FF&E Director Liaise with FF&E Director and Commercial department to ensure all costs budgets are approved Oversee purchase orders, specification sheets and control books for all requirements.Negotiate, co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers to ensure that all specifications and deliveries are being met on time and on budget Take a flexible approach to task boundaries where appropriate.Requirements:6 to 8 year experience as a main contractor in UAE and gulf regionPrevious experience in a similar roleGood team worker but able to exercise own judgement and work independently to make decisionsEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate and integrate into a wide teamExperience in managing stakeholdersAbility to manage, motivate and inspire a team, and experience of mentoring and developing staff Ability to take responsibility and ownershipExcellent prioritization and planning skillsAbility to challengeDesire to strive for personal development
Expected salary: 8000 per month
