Job description: Job Summary Overall responsibility for completeness and accuracy and timely completion of the monthly management accounts, ensuring technical compliance with Companies Act for all trading divisions outside South Africa. The IFRS Accountant will ensure that the divisions’ management accounts are a relevant performance management tool for the short, medium and long term.Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
This role takes responsibility for assisting the Africa and IFRS Financial Controller with providing financial advice and support to senior management to enable them to make sound business decisions. In addition, the Group Africa and IFRS Accountant will assist with the consolidated reporting of IFRS for the group and detailed IFRS reporting for the rest of Africa division.Education:
- CA(SA)
- 0-2 years post articles experience
- Budget, planning and forecast experience or interest
- Management accounting experience or interest
- Financial and tax regulatory knowledge

- Detailed

- Strong leadership skills
- Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Pro-active approach to implementation of changes in operational and accounting requirements
