Our client, a well-known European consultancy with a strong presence in the GCC region, is seeking a Tunnel Lead with expertise in TBM and NATM. This role will focus primarily on design reviews for major tunnelling projects across the region.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage design review processes for TBM and NATM tunnel projects.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to address technical queries and challenges.
- Support project teams with construction methodologies, risk assessments, and technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout project phases.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in tunnelling projects, ideally with TBM and NATM methods.
- Strong background in design review and technical advisory roles.
- Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects in the GCC region is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
