The Leidos Health Mission Solutions division is seeking a Task Manager to support the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) program based out of Baltimore, MD. The Task Manager will perform functional analysis, design, and development of IT business COBOL / LCL / DB2 applications for operations and maintenance as well as enhancement projects.
*Task Manager will work remotely with the ability to attend key meetings in the Baltimore, MD office.
Local candidates preferred or within a 2-hour radius. Relocation assistance is not available.*

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Perform unit testing and system testing, support Independent Verification and Validation testing, and customer integration testing.
Write Change Request Analysis (CRA) documents for system specifications.
Participate in peer reviews.
Participate in customer meetings to recommend solutions to business needs and problems.
Interface with external agencies to coordinate system changes and enhancements.
Recognize, diagnose, research, and resolve system and design concerns.
Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives.
Provide development life-cycle support and evolutionary lifecycle improvements or modifications as requested.
Ensure appropriate Change Management processes/procedures and documentation are followed.
Provide level of effort estimates for change requests.
Update change management system (Jira) as requested.
Provide 24/7 on-call production support on a rotational basis.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 8-12 years of professional relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of professional relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong teamwork, ability to multi-task and a strong commitment to client service.
Must be able to analyze legacy applications for new change requests and problem resolution.
AWS Cloud experience.
Experience with building customer relationships to prioritize and analyze system issues.
Knowledge or experience with Software Engineering (IEEE) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) standards.
Knowledge or experience with Full Development Life-Cycle (FDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with SQL tools.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
JAVA batch development experience.
Previous experience supporting a government agency.
All candidates on the Health and Human Services (HHS) programs must have lived in the United States for the past three (3) consecutive years.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 – $183,300.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Expected salary: $101400 – 183300 per year
