Job description: Job Responsibilities
The person in this position will deliver advanced level design and code using the .NET Core. Use agile methodologies and conducts code-reviews Development of software solutions and systems including but not limited to services, service integration to UI and data, 3rd party integration, refactoring current applications. Integrate, test, and modify existing components and application modules produced by outside vendors, contractors, suppliers, or other entities so that these modules perform as designed in the agency environment. Investigate errors and problems within application components and modules, remediate and solve these issues, and communicate these solutions to application customers and users using specific application defect tracking methodology and software. Work with Project Management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions and projects. Other duties as assigned.
This position is located in the Chief Information Office.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Be familiar with programming in a Microsoft ASP.NET MVC framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET) environment, .Net Core, writing SQL queries and stored procedures, and experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
