- Principal architect and developer in the design and implementation of software and application support to NDU’s digital transformation strategy. Leverages Salesforce, SharePoint and M365 Platforms as primary tools to support transformation strategy.
- Develop and maintain Custom Off the Shelf (COTS) applications to include coding, testing, debugging and deployment. Applicant must maintain a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Serves as a technical hands-on expert and senior program manager that leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates and is accountable for IT projects overall success, ensuring alignment of NDU’s priorities and transformation initiatives.
- Serves as first line supervisor with the responsibility for managing a work unit performing application and software development activities which facilitate the mission and digital transformation of NDU.
- Collaborate with customers and leads teams to define and collect requirements and specifications to develop proposed software and application solutions.

- Oral Communication- briefing mid-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address complex information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources that provide a number of potential solutions.
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience in developing Student Information System and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions for academic institutions using Salesforce and SharePoint platforms AND IT-related experience demonstrating Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving as described above.Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
