Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Supermarket Officer. As a Supermarket Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supermarket, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the supermarket, including overseeing inventory management, stock replenishment, and pricing strategies
  • Ensure the supermarket is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times
  • Train and supervise supermarket staff to ensure exemplary customer service and adherence to company policies
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and negotiate favorable terms
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions
  • Implement effective marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic and increase customer loyalty

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a supermarket or retail environment is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Expected salary: 5300 – 5800 per month
