Salary: EPER pay rate of 32.00 per hourJob Goal: Under general supervision of the Director of Curriculum & Instruction and/or Director of Community Engagement and Partnership, the Coordinator will provide leadership, coordination, and management for the Middle School to High School Summer Bridge Program. This program provides rising 9th graders with experiences to help prepare them for high school. This may include a focus on academic areas, social and emotional topics, and high-school expectations.Job Qualifications: * Possess an educator licensure and/or certification in Delaware.
- Successful classroom teaching experience and demonstrated leadership ability.
Essential Functions: * Coordinates Middle School Summer Bridge Program (rising 9th grade) offered by the District.
- Manages the Middle School Summer Bridge Program
- Compiles orders for instructional resources, establishes training sessions for summer school staff, and coordinates delivery of materials to instructional sites and storage after programs end.
- Works with District Technology Department on student data reports, registration process, and attendance.
- Assists with recruitment of teachers and guest speakers.
- Organizes high school tour.
- Assists with registration and student staff assignments.
- Completes a summary report on the Middle School Summer Bridge Program.
- Plans and prepares program beginning in February. Additional planning hours may be necessary from February – June for approximately 5-10 hours per month.
Expected salary: $32 per hour
