Job description: Our client in the Telecoms industry is currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager, in Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

- Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers. Your primary responsibility will be defining and executing sales strategies focused on increased sales and profitability.
- Manage strategic accounts to deliver profitable, long-term revenue.
- Ensure delivery of annual revenue targets through information, communication, and technology solutions.
- Establish and leverage relationships with customers to achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate to set up service relationships for nominated accounts.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for top-tier client accounts.
- Performance Criteria:
- Strategic Sales Management:
- Plan and develop account strategies.
- Understand customer strategic, tactical, and operational strategies.
- Effectively articulate the company’s value proposition.
- Forge high-level relationships to expand market share.
- Customer Engagement:
- Conduct customer engagement sessions.
- Develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Promote the company’s brand and values.
- Account Management:
- Act as the aggregated point of contact for clients.
- Drive growth through new products and services.
- Manage the sales process from opportunity to order.
- Achieve Sales Target:
- Generate leads and build a sustainable pipeline.
- Convert opportunities into committed orders.
- Grow revenue in line with targets.
- Reporting:
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Present qualified sales pipeline/forecast.
- Ensure accurate pipeline management.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and control annual budgets.
- Align budgets with goals and objectives.
- Miscellaneous & General:
- Perform strategic projects assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- Related University Degree (Desirable)
- Experience:
- 5 years Sales experience (Essential)
- 3 years Wholesale specific experience (Essential)
- Knowledge Areas:
