This global initiative is transitioning our ERP system from SAP ECC to S4 HANA, aiming to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes. By doing so, we are positioning ourselves for future growth and leveraging the power of data across the organization.We are seeking a Senior Transformation Manager, Data Enablement to lead data strategy and execution initiatives to join Magellan. In this role, you will oversee data enablement efforts, ensuring seamless alignment between Product Teams and System Integrators. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering data requirements across functions.Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Boston Scientific’s best practice Data Migration strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of all data migration initiatives.
  • Lead and manage Data Migration efforts, including data profiling, extraction, transformation, conversion, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee and maintain relationships with managed services technology partners, including hiring and onboarding contractors for Boston Scientific projects and initiatives.
  • Manage and coordinate with external suppliers and deployment partners throughout the system development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to contracted deliverables, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster and promote a collaborative team environment, leveraging strong people management skills to support individual growth and team development.
  • Set high standards and lead by example, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement to achieve the best outcomes for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with other team leads to ensure seamless integration, strategic alignment, and a unified approach to delivering optimal business outcomes for Boston Scientific.
  • Champion process automation, proactively identifying opportunities, tools, technologies, and skills to enhance efficiency and implement best practices.
  • Advise and guide teams on data assessment processes and best practices.
  • Provide expertise and accountability in ETL design, ensuring effective data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Manage and coordinate data load activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement load programs using custom ABAP programming or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, and ALE.
  • Perform manual data transformations from legacy systems into SAP-compatible values.
  • Execute manual and automated data loads from legacy systems into SAP, utilizing the appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Work closely with Functional Consultants to validate data accuracy and resolve any errors.
  • Ensure accountability for all data loads into the SAP system, maintaining high-quality data integrity and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands on SAP experience.
  • Proven experience in data migration within large-scale, complex integration and transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Integration principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience leading, motivating, and empowering teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex business and technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated effectiveness in project management and task prioritization.
  • Ability to travel up 10% (domestic and internationally).
