We seek to remove addressable barriers that make it challenging for underserved customers to engage with Amazon through our missions to: 1) enable access to groceries and essentials through acceptance of the customer’s entire Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) wallet; 2) improve health equity by accepting nutrition incentives; and 3) increase financial flexibility.Amazon Access is seeking a creative, highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager – Tech to join the team. In this role, you will support and enable the development of products to enable low-income customers to use their government-issued benefits in Amazon’s online stores, including our ongoing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) acceptance program and our product roadmap to expand the types of government benefits we accept online. As a Senior Product Manager – Tech, you will have ownership and responsibility to drive new product development end-to-end. You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from the customer and partner closely with a variety of stakeholders to improve customer experiences, scale the business and drive expansion. This is a high visibility, fast-paced role working across multiple organizations. Key stakeholders include Amazon Payments, Worldwide Grocery Stores, Public Policy and Legal. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can both think big and dive deep. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with UX designers and technical and business teams and will demonstrate the aptitude to drive positive change with customer empathy and critical thinking.Key job responsibilities
- Manage through ambiguity to project a clear, long-term vision for your products.
- Develop and own a roadmap of product enhancements that you collaborate across engineering, business and design teams to deliver.
- Work with internal and external customers to understand use cases and existing solutions. Drive requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, and product messaging.
- Evaluate technical solutions with alternatives and decompose significantly complex problems into concise and effective technical propositions.
- Partner with multiple tech and product teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of the solution.
- Address bottlenecks, identify inefficiencies, anticipate and make tradeoffs; balance the business and customers’ needs versus technical constraints.
- Own Business Requirement Documents, User Stories, Use Cases, and Product Strategy documents. Design mechanisms to ensure long-term product or business success.

– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
