Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking Sr Principal Enterprise-Wide Applications Analyst: Business Intelligent SME to join our diverse team of professionals located in Fort Gregg-Adams, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interfaces between systems analysts/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.
- Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
- Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests, and implements enterprise-wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) Prepares application system specifications. Plans, implements, and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance.
- Work with the functional teams and customer with their business requirements for GCSS-Army Business Intelligence /Business Warehouse and other acquisition functions as well as support daily operations using the SAP software suite.
- Ability to work in a team-focused environment. Responsible for the design, development, and implementation in SAP Business Warehouse.
- Perform hands on integration and knowledge of software testing System Development Life Cycle concepts.
- The subject matter expert will support planning and test efforts for new/existing software releases received from the Software Engineering team and final software build prior to deployment to operational sites.
- Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated, punctual regular and consistent attendance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 7 years of experience OR 13 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Min of 3 years of related experience in SAP
- Must have general knowledge of Using HP QC or HP ALM
- Must have Experience in Design, Data Modeling, Security, Extraction and Reporting to include ABAP Experience with Extractors, Transformations, BADI and Info Packages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Active Secret Clearance
- Army Logistical knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of HP QC or HP ALM for test script development
Salary Range: $109,900.00 – $164,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
