- Linux Administrator
- 10+ years experience
- The Linux system administrator will perform all administration and maintenance tasks for approximately 200+ Red Hat Linux servers including planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring.
- The Red Hat clustering suite (including GFS) will be maintained and operated.
- The administrator will allocate storage for operating systems and applications.
- The systems will be patched and maintained at the proper security benchmark level. Middleware software installations will be performed.
- The administrator will manage servers in the client data center and headquarters locations.
- Evaluate and propose new or improved system architecture.
- Tune and optimize existing server and application performance by identifying potential hardware and software enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software problems, work with vendors as necessary.
- Work closely with an existing team of skilled systems administrators and mentor junior members
Expected salary: 15000 – 18000 per month
