Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or equivalent experience in Computer Science, related field, or certification from a respected professional software school
- 6-10+ years of Software Development Experience in an Agile environment, Waterfall or hybrid environment
- 6-10+ years of background in software development in Dot Net Framework
- Good knowledge of C# and its core features, including object-oriented concepts, data structures, and algorithms
- Proficiency in SQL querying and database design to get along with relational databases like SQL Server.
- Ability to build multifaceted web applications using ASP.NET MVC, WCF, or Web API frameworks to build RESTful services.
- Experience in Cloud Development such as Azure and IaC tools such as Terraform
- Experience in build deployment through CI/CD on Azure DevOps
- Exposure to proven, Architectural Patterns, Development Best Practices, Test Driven Development, and use of mocking frameworks
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and efficiently fixing application issues.
- Address and resolve issues related to Kafka and data processing.
- Security Engineering or Knowledge of OWASP Principles a plus
- Must have the capability and desire to mentor others as well as be willing to learn from other mentors
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to trouble shoot and knowledge about pair programming
- Experience receiving client calls and solving IT issues or questions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience building in Event Driven Architecture and orchestration platforms like K8 & Docker is plusSalary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for the position is between $55,350– $82,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits:Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
