Responsibilities
- Assist Patient Access Pre Service Manager in conducting quality assurance activities daily
- Update biweekly with Patient Access Pre Service Manager as it relates to operations / quality assurance / volume
- Assist Patient Access Pre Service Manager in training of new employees/ resources from other areas and assists in other duties as needed
- Provide input to the Patient Access Pre Service Manager as it relates to the coordination of staffing
QualificationsEducation/Accredited Programs
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 3 years experience in a medical office / similar setting, to include knowledge of insurance and pre-certification.
- Associates degree preferred
Skills/Abilities
- Strong keyboarding skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel.
- Medical Terminology.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret business documents, policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate sensitive information.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions, and deal with problems effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation – experienced in establishing and maintaining long term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.

The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.Benefits
