- Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through Sprints
- Gather and analyze data to aid in informed decision-making while providing detailed, realistic estimates
- Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and other stakeholders
- Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
- Ensure that technical solutions align with architectural principles, design patterns, and enterprise security requirements.
- Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or 4+ years of related work experience
- 5+ years software development experience with expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web API, React, Python, source control/git/GitHub
- 5+ years Database design especially using SQL Server or any other relational database, with solid SQL language skills
- 3+ years of experience with legacy ASP.NET systems and the ability to provide support and maintenance
- 2+ years of agile development experience; solid understanding of DevOps mindset in CI/CD
- Experience and ability to write code, discuss its pros/cons, propose alternative solutions, and refactor as needed
- Experience with modern development concepts, frameworks, and tools
- Legally authorized to work in the US without any restrictions. Proof will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Log indexing tools (e.g. Splunk, Elastic APM)
- Experience in Docker, Cloud, Kubernetes
- Demonstrated healthcare domain background
- Proven solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
