Position Description
Come help make the world a cleaner, safer place with us at Dakota! In the role of a software engineer you will directly impact the next generation environment health and safety (EHS) platform we’re building at Dakota.
This role will help design and build exceptional experiences for our customers while creating the future of how we develop UIs for our future products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the design, implementation, and testing of front-end features and user interfaces.
- Integrate with back-end systems to provide, consume and display data.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences.
- Iterate on designs and features to deliver our customers a world class experience.
- Write and maintain unit and automated integration tests.
- Help guide and lead the front-end to make improvements to our UI/UX.
Requirements
- Enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field from an accredited U.S. University or the foreign equivalent.
- Programming knowledge and abilities using NET Core.
- Excellent problem solving through analysis, reasoning, communication, and coding skills.
- Understanding of one or more of these web technologies: Angular, Blazor, React, or ASP.NET Core Razor/MVC.
- Passion for creating, developing, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Preferred Requirements
- 2 years of completed coursework towards the above-mentioned degree.
- EST or CST time zones.
- Preference given to Co-Op students who can work for college credit & pay beyond the summer of 2024.
- In addition to the required experience with ASP.NET Core, experience with .NET Core.
Expected salary: $21 – 22 per hour
