About the team
As a Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.
Worldpay is seeking an experienced Mid-to-Senior level Software Engineer to work as a key team member developing highly transactional, Cloud-based microservices and solutions, with a focus on tokenization and encryption.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid knowledge of .NET Core, cloud-based microservices development within AWS.

What you will be doing:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for coding and analyzing application software; support existing products and business applications; working with the team leads, product owner and QA Engineers to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions; and be responsible for designing and documenting technical requirements for products and business applications.
Work closely with the Agile team to develop tokenization products and services for Cloud using a microservices approach.
Follow and enforce SDLC and standards as well as make recommendations to improve both.
Propose solutions and ideas to drive innovation and efficiency within the domain’s products and services
Troubleshoot various products and services already in production as needed.
Participate in SAFe and Agile meetings.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience designing and developing business or technical applications using Microsoft C# and ASP.NET preferred.
At least 3 years of experience designing and developing software products using .NET Core preferred.
Experience developing microservices and cloud-based applications using containers.
Working experience with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding techniques.
SQL experience, including writing/optimizing stored procedures within PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
Experience with any of these technologies is a plus: Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra/NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins.
Experience implementing RESTful APIs, Web services, and Windows services.
Experience with and understanding of ASP.NET Core, MVC, JavaScript, Web API, JSON, WSDLs, WCF, XSD, XML, SOAP, Multi-threading, SVN etc.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to work within a very collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The pay range for this full-time position is $87,430.00 – $146,880.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
