Job description: We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect – Expert to support the EIM/Business Intelligence-Patient Systems and various projects within the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). This role is crucial in meeting operational management reporting needs for state facilities, local providers, and agency oversight.The selected candidate will develop and maintain OBIEE 11g/12c executive dashboards and analytics, administer OBIEE Web Services, and respond to ad hoc inquiries while contributing to the development of new administrative requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Migrate and administer OBIEE Objects and configure the OBIEE Server.
- Develop OBIEE 11g/12c/OAS technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Design and implement metadata and reporting components for business intelligence solutions.
- Ensure development aligns with OMH’s architectural strategy and maintains data integrity.
- Develop and maintain the business and presentation layers within OBIEE.
- Create reports and dashboards using OBIEE 11g/12c/OAS and integrate with Oracle WebCenter.
- Perform comprehensive testing of reports, dashboards, and analytics before business review.
- Analyze, design, and develop web-based applications using .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET, and SharePoint 2010/2013.
- Research and recommend new technologies to improve OBIEE systems.
Mandatory QualificationsSoftware Architect – Expert (84+ months of experience)
- Designs multi-tiered software architectures, establishes technical standards, and oversees system development.
- Leads and guides development teams, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- 84+ months of experience with OBIEE 12c/OAS catalog development, BI Publisher, and MUDE repository development.
- 84+ months of experience with Oracle 11g/12c databases, Oracle Data Warehouses, and SQL coding in a Business Intelligence environment.
- 60+ months of experience in installing and configuring OBIEE WebLogic Server with SSO authentication.
- 84+ months of front-end development experience using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- 60+ months of experience in OBIEE to OAS migration and security architecture.
- 36+ months of experience developing web applications using .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET, along with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
- 36+ months of experience developing Java web services in a WebLogic Server using Maven and AngularJS.
- 84+ months of experience with PL/SQL development.
- 84+ months of experience working with healthcare data, including compliance with HIPAA, HL7, or similar standards.
