Reports to: Project Manager / Site ManagerJob Overview:Our client is a are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design specifications and UAE regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on site management experience.Key Responsibilities:Site Execution & Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, labor, and site workers to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available as per project schedules.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Provide technical support and resolve site-related challenges in coordination with project teams.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with contract documents, method statements, and UAE construction regulations.
- Conduct quality checks and report non-conformance issues to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper execution of reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, finishing, and MEP coordination.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, RFI logs, material approvals, and progress updates.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and safety regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for site teams.
- Identify and mitigate site risks to ensure a safe working environment.
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Attend site meetings and report progress, issues, and solutions to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in preparing site progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in site engineering, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural, finishing, and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with UAE construction codes, DM/DDA regulations, and authority approvals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, infrastructure, or industrial construction.
- Understanding of contract administration and variations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site responsibilities.
Expected salary: 15000 per month
