Job description: Responsibilities
1.Supervise Machine operators
2.Assist in the managing and Training / Development of Operators
3.Verify and distribute route cards to operators before and after the machining process
4.Track process times and make adjustments / improvements as needed to meet goals
5.Check works orders, engineering drawings, materials, and specifications and advise operations of requirements
6.Co-ordinating with GM for job priorities.
7.Able to use a micrometer, Vernier and other gauges as and when required for inspections
8.Oversee schedules planned deliveries, coordination with goods out and logistics
9.Co-ordinating with maintenance to resolve any breakdowns.
10.Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings prior to passing for inspection
11.Co-ordinating with QC for final inspectionRequirements1.10 years of mechanical engineer Supervisor experience
2.High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical (Preferred)
3.Strong management and supervisory skills
4.Excellent English verbal communication skills
5.Solid process improvement practice
