Are you looking to help the Department of Defense (DoD) identify emerging technologies that might help develop the future joint force and our nation’s civilian workforce? As an experienced professional, you know that innovative technologies offer a range of applications that may influence future military and civilian capabilities. We are looking for someone like you to help a Defense client identify early-stage research with the potential to accelerate innovative solutions to complex DoD challenges. The Senior Technical Manager shall be responsible for the web-based and web-related components of ATRRS.
The Senior Technical Manager shall have, at a minimum, 5 years of experience in the following:
Managing web operations for a program or project similar to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity.
Internet application development within a Microsoft web environment using the following: Microsoft.NET applications, ASP, ASP.NET (3.5, 4.0, and later), Visual Basic, SQL Server (2008 and later editions), Visual Studio 2010, IIS, and current/other related applications.
Analyzing, isolating, and resolving program malfunctions in a Web environment.
Debugging programs and job streams being tested in various hardware/operating system environments.
Software environments and hardware configurations.
Using DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.
The design, development, and integration of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services within an enterprise architecture.Salary Range: $115,000 – $160,000Requirements:
- Master’s in computer science, engineering, or related discipline with 10+ yrs experience or BA/BS with 12+ yrs experience
- Experience with PERL is required.
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML/HTML5/CSS is required.
- Strong understanding of database driven application is required.
- Strong user interface design skills are required.
- Configuration management and software deployment experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills is required.
- Understanding of SDLC, operations systems, networks and computer hardware infrastructures is a plus.
- Experience with formal software delivery and quality methodologies is a plus.
- DoD development and STIG application resolution experience is a plus.
Expected salary: $115000 – 160000 per year
