Do you possess advanced skills in park maintenance and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Team Member – Parks.In this role, you will work closely with the Team Leader to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our council’s parks and open spaces. Your responsibilities will include implementing programs, day-to-day maintenance, and providing technical guidance to our dedicated parks staff.We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to convey instructions and project reporting effectively. Your demonstrated knowledge and experience in park maintenance, including ecologically sound methods, will be invaluable in this role.Please for a full Position DescriptionWhat you should have to apply:

  • AQF Level 3 Trade Qualification and relevant experience and/or substantial experience in a Horticultural related industry
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Awareness of Safety
  • Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures
  • Have an enthusiasm for working outdoors and undertake manual work
  • Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team
  • MR drivers’ licence

What’s nice to have:

  • Certificate III (AQF level 3) or higher in Horticulture or other relevant field
  • ACDC spray licence
  • Chainsaw level 2
  • Experience in park facilities management
