To see more about Council and what you could achieve working with us, please visit us onWhat we are looking for:We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Team Member Parks – Coastal.In this role, you’ll work closely with our Team Leader to implement programs and maintain the beauty and functionality of our coastal parks and open spaces. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring these areas remain safe, vibrant, and accessible for our community to enjoy.Your organisational skills will shine as you autonomously manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality outcomes are achieved. From landscaping to pest management, playground maintenance to tree care, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of tasks aimed at maintaining the health and vitality of our parks.Please for a full Position DescriptionWhat you should have to apply:
- Relevant experience in a Horticultural related industry
- MR Licence
- Awareness of Safety
- Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures
- Have an enthusiasm for working outdoors and undertake manual work
- Excellent time management/organisational skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as a senior team member
- Construction Induction Training – White Card
What’s nice to have:
- Certificate III (or higher) in Horticulture or equivalent
- ACDC spray licence
- Chainsaw level 1 (minimum)
- Experience in Parks and Gardens/Open Space Maintenance and / or leadership
