Reporting to the Group Manager, Directory, Messaging and Collaboration , a key aspect of the role will be to lead the smooth operation of messaging services with emphasis on business roadmap activities, customer satisfaction and process improvement.Computer Manager Level 2, commencing salary from $124,152– $140,163 per annum plus 11% superannuation and annual leave loading + 11% Super and Annual Leave loadingFor more information, read the full .What you will doAs an integral member of the Team or business unit name, you will:

  • Perform proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain system performance to meet user demand.
  • Participate in projects to on board new customers and services to the messaging platforms.
  • Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages.
  • Evaluate new messaging solutions and monitor the market for emerging technology. Provide advice and recommendation to ICT programs and IS teams on opportunities for service improvement.
  • Take initiative and look for opportunities in the Change and Event management processes to ensure improve these processes and maintain compliance towards the NSW Health methodologies.
  • Train and mentor the other members of the team to ensure they have the knowledge and abilities to assist other eHealth teams, existing LHD and Service Desk personnel for resolution of complex Messaging service related issues.
  • Preparation of reports that document the various performance characteristics of the information technology service delivery that relate to technical issues.

About youWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience and/or qualifications in supporting enterprise messaging environments leveraging journaling and archiving, including mail hygiene, security and routing
  • Demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge in Microsoft Exchange technologies including multi-site DAG’s, load balanced client access services (Autodiscover, Activesync,RPC over HTTP and MAPI), Exchange Powershell and Microsoft Clustering.
