Duties include: Create optimal technical design adhering to architectural best practices and taking into account scalability, reliability and performance of systems. Create tables and stored procedures in a SQL database. Develop multiple SSIS packages for data loaded from different sources and SSRS reports. Develop User Interfaces (UI) using .NET MVC, Kendo UI Controls and JavaScript. Create APIs to create end of day summary reports. Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements. Conduct code reviews with a focus on code quality, acceptance criteria, business logic, test coverage and overall architecture alignment. Implement CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines to build and deploy applications. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Openings.Basic Qualifications:Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a software engineer, technology lead, or related.Required Skills/Experience:Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a software engineer, technology lead, or related. Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following: (a) designing, developing, testing, and implementing software applications using .NET Core, .NET MVC, C#, Kendo UI, JavaScript and ASP.NET; (b) designing developing, and building APIs (Application Programming Interface) for web applications; (c) developing SSIS packages for transferring data to a SQL database; (d) utilizing ESLint rules and SonarQube to continuously inspect code quality and analyze security vulnerabilities; (e) implementing CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines to build and deploy applications; (f) utilizing GIT as a code repository tool ; and (g) generating custom reports using SSRS. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,781 – $176,100.
