Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
- Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
- Provide direct technical expertise, mentoring, and training to other department personnel including Programmer Analysts. Participate in selection process for new IS staff.
- Interact with internal and external customers to establish needs. Propose new systems and enhancements to existing systems to meet identified requirements.
- Create database and application specifications for approved projects. Monitor the progress of projects and resolve problems.
- Perform all database administration functions including design, implementation and integrity checks.
- Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
- Convert designs and specifications into computer code. Compile code into programs and corrects errors detected in compile process. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
- Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, installation and operating procedures.
- Perform Help Desk functions in a timely manner, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Monitor performance of programs after implementation.
- Understand and utilize systems development life cycle (SDLC) and capability maturity model (CMM) methodologies in the design, evolution, and implementation of fully functional and reliable systems platforms.
- Interact appropriately with peers and other co-workers. Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment when solving problems.
- Plan and organize work assignments effectively; complete work assignments on time.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years total work experience in the specific areas of database design and database application development required.
- Recent experience in AWS environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Language, SQL Server 2012, Windows API, Microsoft Access, Adobe CS3 and Internet Explorer required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the equivalent combination of work related experience and post high school education required. MCAD , MCPD, or MCSD preferred.

Pay Range:
- The pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to $109,000
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
