We’re a small team and you’ll have an opportunity to make a big impact!We are seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as a Senior Software Engineer.Responsibilities:

  • Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
  • Write well-designed, testable code.
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, computing equipment, and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Set an example for others to follow by considering the business’s and team’s best interests.
  • Support and mentor Software Engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and help manage project priorities and timelines.
  • Take ownership of assigned core technologies and functionalities.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with C#– 5+ years.
  • Working knowledge of SQL – 5+ years.
  • Unit Testing – 5+ years.

Preferred:

  • JavaScript or TypeScript- 5+ years.
  • React – 2+ years
  • ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC or Core – 5+ years.
  • GIT / GitHub – 2+ years.
  • Experience with GIS systems including ESRI
  • Experience writing low-level software communicating with TCP/IP
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server with 10+ years experience
