Managing user access, monitor daily error reports, and design automated jobs to support interface completion. Apply today – it begins with YOU!*This is a project position with an anticipated end date within February 2026*DutiesAs the Senior Salesforce System Administrator, you are responsible for responsible for ensuring applications and systems utilized by WIT are maintained and available to meet their needs. The systems and applications developed, enhanced, and maintained at ESD are highly visible systems that have agency-wide, statewide, national, and multi-agency impact.You will be relied upon in assisting staff to support the configuration, and integration of the applications specific to the WorkSource line of business, including but not limited to, their mission critical case management, labor exchange systems, and appointment schedulers. Additional duties required in this role will include participating in user workflow design sessions to provide technical input on business proposals, coaching staff, providing input on employee evaluations, alerting the WorkSource System Supervisor to staff conflicts, and providing recognition for staff, building confidence, morale, and self-esteem.Some of your duties may include:System configuration, integration, & enhancements:
- Manage, customize, design, and implement configuration enhancements to the WorkSource case management system developed on Salesforce platform.
- Build or re-configure assigned systems to meet federal, state, and agency standards and requirements.
- Conduct impact analysis and work with stakeholders to understand the implications of changes to the system and the effects it has on users of the system and regulatory reporting.
User Access Management:
- Ensure users/account created and access is under correct security groups.
- Permissions, access policies, shield/masking.
Interface support:
- Monitor daily error reports to ensure successful completion of interfaces .
- Investigate and resolve interface failures.
- Design, test, and implement automated jobs to support interface completion.
- Create and execute special or ad hoc jobs, reports, or interface files.
- Design, maintain and execute specialized interfaces, file transfers, data integration, or data fixes to assure the integrity of the enterprise system.
Additionally, in this role you will be responsible for Outage Response, Change Management, System Security, and Testing activities that support the project and all stakeholders.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or closely related field AND ten (10) years of IT experience developing systems
ORA combination of IT related education and/or relevant IT experience equal to fourteen (14) years which includes (for all applicants):
- Demonstrated skills in Salesforce Cloud/tools, flow creation, user access management. Salesforce Apex Code and lighting web components. Data load tools, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and SQL, Cloud Technologies, and Git.
- Demonstrated skills performing the full application life cycle activities of the standard Application Life Cycle Methodology (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
- Demonstrated skills performing unit testing as part of the SDLC.
- Continuous development of skills related to new tools and techniques within application design and development, maintenance, and support.
- Oral communication skills – convey information orally according to the needs of the audience and receive and understand spoken information.
- Demonstrated testing skills – unit testing, requirements testing, user testing, load testing, functional, performance/load testing, and regression testing.
Desirable/Preferred Education, Experience or Certifications
- Demonstrated software administration and knowledge of WorkSourceWA/Job Seeker portals and case management systems.
- Experience as a senior staff member of a team including providing coaching and mentoring to other team members.
- Salesforce admin certification.
