- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of site safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend and track corrective actions.
- Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Develop and deliver effective safety training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
- Serve as a key liaison with regulatory agencies, consultants, and auditors.
- Monitor and analyze safety metrics; prepare reports and present trends to leadership.
- Support contractor safety management and onboarding.
- Actively participate in and guide the safety committee and employee engagement programs.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Promote best practices in machine safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and chemical safety.

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of safety experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing safety programs.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
- CSP, ASP, or other relevant safety certification preferred.
- Hands-on and approachable with strong shop-floor presence.
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving safety issues.
- Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and working independently.
- Experience in high-risk environments such as heavy equipment, high-voltage, confined spaces, or chemical exposure.
