The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of systems and technology released into ETP’s production environment. This includes planning and executing testing activities, validating results, and obtaining approvals using manual processes and automated tools available in the client’s environment. This role ensures that products meet business requirements and objectives by tracking and reporting QA metrics, documenting issues, and coordinating resolutions with development teams.Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a team leader for large-scale platform testing (e.g., SAP, JDA).
- Lead implementation and expansion of automated testing tools.
- Coordinate and schedule testing programs with project and program teams.
- Report testing outcomes to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate the work of third-party Quality Assurance teams.
- Perform quality and testing audits to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Identify and implement process improvements for quality assurance programs.
- Review third-party testing programs for quality and compliance with standards.
- Understand programming languages (e.g., ABAP, Java, C#, Perl, Python) and deployment tools (e.g., Turnover, QGM/Solution Manager).
- Support DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Identify test data requirements and work with teams to create/maintain test data.
- Execute both manual and automated tests, document results and defects, and assist in troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain software testing tools.
- Create, run, and maintain reports to track testing metrics.
- Participate in test automation (framework design, script development, maintenance).
- Stay current on software testing tools and QA best practices.
- Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teams.
- Coach and develop Quality Assurance Analysts.
- Lead and direct offshore testing programs.
- Maintain working knowledge of QA best practices and serve as a thought leader.
- Facilitate QA training and education programs.
- Recommend ways to reduce testing costs or improve quality through staffing models.
- Provide coaching and development for Senior QA Analysts.
- Lead QA projects and teams, become an expert in our technology stack and processes.
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts (manual and automated).
- Execute and document test results, support defect resolution.
- Report HP ALM QA metrics and testing status.
- Support integration testing, guide SAP super users, and assist in defect resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Functional Manual testing.
- UI and API integration testing.
- Experience of working on eCommerce (B2B/B2C).
- Experience of JIRA Test Management tools.
- Basic knowledge of Automation in TOSCA/Selenium/Playwright.
- 2+ years as a QA Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Strong team collaboration and analytical skills.
- Proficient oral and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Experience with large-scale platforms (e.g., SAP, JDA).
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
- Experience coordinating testing teams and schedules.
- Expertise in test planning, execution, and related tools.
- Experience with offshore testing teams.

- Regression and performance testing for packaged releases.
- SAFe Agile certification.
- Experience in Agile (SAFe preferred), DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
