City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking a motivated Senior Project Planner with precent and public domain development experience to join our team in the Project Management Office service unit until January 2026. This role is responsible for coordinating the planning and design of capital works projects and public domain projects to enhance existing assets and provide new infrastructure across the CN.

As a Senior Project Planner, you will coordinate the preparation of master plans, public domain plans, concept designs, guidelines, and technical manuals to ensure transition into practical and deliverable operational plans. This includes leadership, communication, and collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders to drive projects to deliver agreed goals on time and on budget, to resolve challenges and to effectively deliver value for money outcomes that achieve strategic objectives.
