KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
KEY ACTIVITIES
Data maintenance and reporting
- Develop reporting regimes and systems including automated reports
- Support staff in immediate team and more broadly to use relevant reporting systems
Expert advice and support
- Prepare quality reports, briefings and correspondence which provide advice to the organization’s Executives, Comittees, the Minister and/or program managers
- Provide authoritative advice to executives, program team managers, schools and regions on infrastructure matters. This should be done through careful analysis of data and critical thinking
Data analysis and reporting
- Analyse data using standard tools (e.g. SQL, server, Access, Excel, SPSS, SAS and Visual Basic)
- Undertake complex statistical and analytic projects to monitor the department progress against key outcomes
- Ensure delivery of timely, accurate and high quality data products and reports
- Present complex concepts ideas and issues in clear confident and timely manner
- Provide recommendations for embedding insights from analysis to drive action
Expert advice
- Provide authoritative advice and develop options, recommendations and proposals to inform decision making
- Provide advice to team members to support the preparation of reports inlcuidng process guidance and organisational context
Stakeholder engagement and consultation
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to inform research and analysis
- Establish and maintain a culture of partnership in research and evaluation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the the organization’s in a range of forums including Committees
- Demonstrate best practice stakholder engagement to team members to develop skills
Information dissemination
- Prepare and, as appropriate, present discussion papers, submissions, reports and briefings for committees, expert bodies, ministers or key decision makers
- Respond to requests for information from colleagues, stakeholders and Executives
