As part of our Planning & Network team at Water and Waste Services in the beautiful Fraser Coast Region, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of water and wastewater infrastructure in our community.We’re looking for someone with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for clear communication. Whether you’re interpreting technical documents or working alongside our team to achieve common goals, your strategic thinking and ability to work collaboratively will be invaluable. With your extensive knowledge of water and wastewater planning principles, operations, and environmental issues, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running and make a real impact from day one.Your expertise will be essential in managing projects related to water supply and sewerage systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a key point of contact for water and sewerage planning activities, you’ll liaise with stakeholders both within and external to the organisation, providing valuable engineering support and fostering collaborative relationships.Please for a full Position DescriptionWhat you should have to apply:

  • AQF Level 7 or above in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater planning
  • Understanding of network modelling
  • Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Leadership skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Drive to succeed
  • Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence
