Job description: Compensation: To $65/hrJob Overview – Senior .NET Developer – 33393Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer resource for an open contract-to-hire role on their information technology team. In this role you will support various web applications used in their U.S. manufacturing plants. This includes modifications to several applications to make them ready for multi-company usage and assisting with implementation and support.Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining .NET applications for systems as diverse as local QC test data collection to Global Color Management.
- Providing end-user support for some applications.
- Leading analysis and design efforts for major modifications to existing applications.
- Working with leadership and user teams to get agreement on design requirements and user acceptance of finished product.
- Participating in various team meetings to stay updated on new requirements and opportunities for improvement of existing offerings from the IT department.
Requirements
- 4+ years working directly with end-users on .NET project development.
- Tech Skills: Required: ASP.Net (2 Yrs) , VB.Net, Excellent SQL Skills, Oracle Database Familiarity
- Other Skills Desired: VB6, PL-SQL, Database Design, C#, JavaScript, CSS, dcLink/DSI/MEP Device Platform, Label Templates Creation, PDF Processing, Handheld Device Management
- Good communication skills. Able to work with end-users to create requirement documents to guide development life-cycle process.
