Job description: A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Sr. Manager, Environmental Health and Safety, to oversee a key manufacturing location in the Martinsburg West Virginia area.Reporting to the Director of EHS and overseeing a team of 4, the ideal candidate will develop, manage, implement and lead EHS programs within the plant as well as have a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence and engage at various levels of a plant.The Role:

- Develop, implement, and lead EHS activities across the plant.
- Audit safety processes and procedures to maintain compliance. Ensure all required inspections are current and all documentation is accurate.
- Lead and foster a “people first” culture.
- Manage industrial hygiene programs.
- Develop, manage, and lead environmental activities to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Develop, manage, and lead the Site Safety Committee, Emergency Response Team, and Industrial Fire Brigade.
- Prepare and manage the annual EHS budget.
- Oversee a team of 4 direct reports.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in health, Safety or similar, related discipline is required – CSP is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in safety roles with 8+ years in safety management required.
- 10+ years of experience within manufacturing environment required.
- OSHA, EPA, NFPA rules, regulations, and compliance preferred.
- ASP/CSP/CIH preferred.
Expected salary: $140000 – 160000 per year
