You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.

As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Lead strategic Pfizer eCommerce initiatives, partnering with market leadership in the commercial organization. This requires deep functional knowledge of the functional systems supporting the eCommerce Prime strategy at Pfizer. These include SAP SD / SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)/ Cloud 4 Customer and other functional systems and technologies that support the eCommerce strategy for Pfizer
  • Demonstrate broad understanding of eCommerce best practices and technologies and how they integrate with B2B customer services globally
  • Ability to dDefine and understand customer facing business requirements, design eCommerce solutions within the Pfizer Digital strategy, and delivery systems to meet the requirements
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP configurations in SAP SD/Hybris modules/Java based architectures and frameworks
  • Collaborate with commercial and trade business users to understand business requirements, provide cost estimates, and design eCommerce solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design, configure and or develop eCommerce solutions to achieve desired functionality and perform testing as needed
  • Manage the continuous improvement intake from the business stakeholders, aligning solutions to the Pfizer Digital strategy
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels in the organization and collaborate with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds and in different geographical regions
  • Lead teams of consultants and collaborate closely with regional and global Digital teams to deliver solutions in time and on budget
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams to get things done, deliver solutions and managing the business users’ expectations to ensure clear communication of the issues to seek input on a timely manner
  • Achieve successful delivery of new eCommerce storefront capabilities, managing efforts from plan/design to go-live
  • Accountable for project management, cost tracking, resourcing, and implementation of eCommerce Solutions across the entire enterprise, so that the Pfizer commercial teams can achieve customer facing eCommerce customer satisfaction, and commercial operational excellence in the pharmaceutical space

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with five 6+ years of relevant experience or 15 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP configurations in SAP SD/Hybris modules/SAP Commerce Cloud architectures and frameworks, including managing builds and branches in Git
  • Ability to meet with senior leadership in commercial business units and strategize, define and scope customer facing business requirements, design eCommerce solutions within the Pfizer Digital strategy, and delivery of systems solutions to meet the requirements
  • Experience designing and implementing B2B eCommerce solutions across customers, including exposing services for integration with customer systems on disparate platforms, in a secure and efficient manner
  • Expertise using MS Project, Jira, Github to efficiently balance requirements, effort, timeline, and budget for solutioning efforts
  • ABAP API and/or Java web developer skills to design, develop and test interfaces or system enhancements
  • Good organization skills, with the range to manage 2-4 parallel deliverables concurrently
  • Robust and well-honed communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present content appropriate for senior leadership. Comfortable preparing concise and accurate summarization of complex efforts/status/concepts using creative and engaging content
  • Understanding of financial concepts, success factors and Objectives and Key Results metrics for business performance
  • Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Master’s degree
  • Previous experience of at least 3-4 full life cycle projects implementing eCommerce solutions integrated with SAP SD, or SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris solutions
  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution modules and configuration for Sales Order MangementManagement, Delivery Scheduling, Warehouse Management and Goods Issue functions
  • Extensive integration experience with other DevOps focused technologies, such as Java, OpenAPI technologies (REST, ODI, SOAP and relational database languages/technologies, including Postgres and SQL Server
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Commercial or sales and marketing
  • Experience with SOX compliance / practices is desirable.
  • Experience with ServiceNow / Celonis is beneficial

  • Occasional additional hours in the evening or weekends as necessitated by workload, project timelines, or meetings with global vendors and peers.
  • Periodic travel, both Domestic and International, up to 15%.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.   • The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00.
